1. The Exotic Gaze: Repetition and Rhythm
The first set focuses on repetition and rhythm- finding the balance between these relations. The repetition of the lines helps reinforce the dynamic nature of this set, allowing viewers to be intrigued by the hypnotic focus of this subject.
2. The Exotic Gaze: Typography.
The second focuses on typography, emphasizing the phrases/ words presented from the last concept. As well as a bespoke typeface utilizing elements from the previous versions of the repetition and rhythm set.
3. The Exotic Gaze: Manipulation of Symbols
The third set focuses on symbols, a more abstract take on each topic element. Utilizing a spiral pattern to comment on the "hypnotic" appeal of the sexualization of Asian culture.
